Meet our Staff


Rob Schaerer, M.D.

Dr. Schaerer has been with Loudon Pediatric Clinic since 2004. After growing up in Farragut, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa and St. Petersburg before returning "home" to Tennessee. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, serves as Director of Pediatrics at Fort Loudon Medical Center, and is also on staff at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Dr. Schaerer is married with three busy children, a member of Two Rivers Church, and enjoys UT sports, playing guitar and piano, golf, fitness, cooking, and spending time on the lake.


Marc Courts, M.D.

Dr. Courts joined the staff at Loudon Pediatric Clinic in 2008, and he has been dedicated to the children of Loudon and Knox Counties since 1995. He was born in West Virginia and first moved to the Knoxville area in 1993. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and received his medical degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He completed his Residency at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital through the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and serves as a faculty member at both Fort Loudon Medical Center and East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Dr. Courts and his family attend Faith Promise Church where they volunteer throughout the youth ministries. He enjoys football, snow skiing, music, and roller coasters.


Kendall Memory, C.P.N.P.

Ms. Memory joined the staff at Loudon Pediatric Clinic in 2020 and has been working in pediatric healthcare since 2015. She graduated Summa Cum Laude both with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, specializing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. She is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Memory enjoys spending time with her family and being active in her church. She also enjoys baking, volunteering, everything Christmas, and traveling to national parks across the country.


Shelecia Brewer, Office Manager

Shelecia has been with Loudon Pediatric Clinic since 2021 after being a patient from birth through graduation from the practice and Loudon High School in 1999. She attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and Roane State Community College, graduating with a degree in Business and Office Administration in 2004. Shelecia is married to her husband Jason, and they have two children. She enjoys spending her free time at the lake, hiking, and traveling with her family.
